The D-D Aquablue Plus is regarded as the number one bulb for marine and reef aquariums.
A special 60:40 combination of 6000K and 22000K (approx) phosphor blend.
It is specifically designed for reef aquariums mimicking sea water to a depth of three to fifty feet. It can be used for growing SPS corals up to 30 inches in the aquarium.
Ideally suited as a standalone or in a 2:1 or 3:1 configuration with blue or actinic supplementary lamps. This is the ultimate marine lamp.
